His name is OLLIE and he is our mascot for a number of reasons, all of which are important.

First, Ollie is an olive tree. In the cruelest and driest environments in the world, he is able to bear fruit. The fruit that he creates are used in almost everyday from oils to being on a pizza. The fruit is great for the heart preventing heart disease as well as strengthening the bones. Ollie has seen the test of time with his ability to thrive in places that many individuals are unable to endure the hardship.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

As we also grow through hardships and push through the desert and arid climate of life, we are able to thrive in the most immense pressures. Our Confidence is in the Lord and you are able to bear fruit that feeds many each and every fall without fail no matter what the season is like. We possess with great eyes the knowledge and wisdom of the world around us; seeing the immaculate conception of life and death, growth and rebirth, time and time again.
