How to Buy Your Time Back with Money

There is a vast sea of information that we live in with the creation of the internet. There are so many ideas and knowledge that gets built upon, but when learning a new skills or thing that you are passionate in the thing that money does is buy Time.

Time is the most valuable asset of our lives; we are unable get more of it because once it is consumed that is it. We are able to buy others people’s time and effort to excel and accelerate  growth in today’s world. There are so much information found in today’s world that many individuals do not know where to look.

The two choices in doing this is to learn everything yourself and eventually build a foundation and know which direction to take or have a person do their groundwork first and once you have learned from them evolve the groundwork even further.

“We are all headed towards the same destination in life, some get there faster and others get there later, but we will eventually get there”

Why is Money important?

Money helps speed up that process with teachers and mentors that can lay down their expertise into expediting the process. This is why the best investment a person can make is themselves. When a person invest in themselves they are learning and growing more skills into their ideal destination. You will go as far as you dare to dream.

Majority of the things in our life are free to get started; there are libraries to obtain knowledge and learn skills, going outdoors to run or get exercise, and going to spiritual places such as churches, mosque and temples to have spirituality. Those things are free in life, but when people pay to go there they expedite the growth cycle because of what is being taught. The library for instance has so many books that it is overwhelming to get started. The hardest part in life is getting started and once a person gets started momentum or the snowball effect takes effect. There is a sea of information and most of the time people do not know where to start.

What to do with money?

Money equates to the value you provide and the time you have in life. Money buys time and helps provide others with living. Getting into a boss mentality of not having to do everything by yourself is a way to approach what you have to do with your money.

There are so many people with a lot of money out there, but they do not know what to buy with it. They buy things such as expensive cars, watches, foods, or things…

These things are do not bring back anymore time. Looking to buy things that buy more time for you and help you make more time for the things you want.

When I started to track my time management skills, I saw that it took about 2 to 3 hours to mow the lawn every 2 weeks which is about 4-6 hours of my time. If I was making $100 per hours, for instance, mowing the lawn would cost about nearly $400- $600 a month…

Although I can mow the lawn myself, paying someone to do it is way cheaper.

  1. I get to provide them with a job and help them out financially

  2. It’s way cheaper for me to pay someone to mow the entire lawn for $100-$150 than to do it myself.

  3. Gives Time back to learn and do the things I love in life and continue to grow my health, wealth or relationships!

What to do with extra time?

Finding something you love to do and do it with your extra time. Reading about people who have done what you want to do or love to do is the fastest way to go.

If you are interested in a subject start with 5 books on a subject. Each book contains roughly 15 years of experience and knowledge into a book.

Start off with a book that is easy to read and helps break in the thing you are trying to learn.

When I wanted to learn about stock market trading, I started off with a beginner friendly book about stock market trading to learn the language and the ideas behind what was the stock market about. It made stock market investing seem fun and interesting.

After the introduction book, look for 2 books that are considered an intermediate level book that helps with still mysterying the idea or skill you are trying to learn. This would be a book roughly 200-300 pages where it is getting more difficult to read, but allows your mind to grow and ponder on the ideas written in the book.

Lastly pick 2 more books, the last two books are at an expert level that are very specific ideas within the skill or idea you are trying to learn. The book are very specific and get two books that are written to have opposing views of each other. It will allow you to understand why there are opposing views on the subject and able to play both sides of the coin. It develops empathy for both sides allowing you to understand why one side believes this and the other side believes this.

By the time 5 books are done, you have roughly 85 years of knowledge packed into your brain and you are able to start teaching about the subject you were interesting in. The subjects you are interested in will feel fun to read about and learn because it will be what you are passionate about. They should feel fun and easy to get through and then the goal is to help teach others about what you have learn to speed up their life.

What to do with this knowledge?

This is how specific knowledge is developed because you have specified what you want to learn about to such an expert level degree. You are most-likely know more about this subject than 99% of the population in the world unless they are college professors, but they are teaching these courses in college when you will be able to do it online. You can monetize and create money with your knowledge by putting yourself out there on platforms such as youtube, medium, twitch, or starting your own blog and website.

By growing your platform and having like-minded individuals come and understand what value you bring to them they are willing to buy courses, and learn from you and what you have to teach them!
